Annual Apprenticeship Contest Set For May

The Utah Career Center will be hosting the Annual Apprenticeship contest on Saturday, May 18 at the Utah Career Center. This competition is open to all 3rd to 5th year apprentices. The winner of the competition will represent the Utah Career Center at the District Regional Contest. All apprentices interested in participating must contact Will Nickell or Mike Becksted at (801) 295-6198 before April 15th. The apprentices scheduled to compete are:

Welding: James Bates, Shaun Ford, Jace Johnson, Wyatt Ford, Mike Hatch, Josh Cadwell, and Josh Linscomb

Pipefitting: Taylor Todd and Jason Leuders

HVAC: Jesse Breinholt, Tony Wrestler, Steve Melendez, Kimo Aniya, and David Thole

Plumbing: Travis Jessup and Julio Zuniga
