Employee Assistance Program Provides Wealth of Resources

As many of you are aware, the UMCA and UA Local 140 have secured the services of Blomquist Hale to administer an employee assistance program to our employees.  All UMCA contractors and their employees are covered under this program, even those who do not receive their health benefits from the Utah Pipe Trades.  The Employee Assistance Program is an integral part of the UMCA & UA Local 140’s Drug Testing Program, but did you know that Blomquist Hale has many additional services available to our members?  Some of those include face-to-face therapy, supervisor/manager training, onsite crisis intervention, change courses, behavioral wellness assistance, and customizable training.  A flyer highlighting some of the benefits of the EAP can be downloaded here.  We encourage all UMCA members to familiarize themselves with the EAP and to educate their employees to the resources available through the program.  To speak with our account representative, Sean Morris (801-971-4401) about ways to more fully take advantage of this benefit.
