Join us on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Utah Career Center from 12:30PM-3:30PM for the CE course Understanding & Training with VRF Systems for HVAC Contractors. This course will center on the basics of VRF systems from installation to service and feature an extensive overview of VRF systems. Attendees will learn how to size and prepare a VRF system for installation calculate and limit Combination Ratio. This course will address common issues installers and users face when switching from traditional HVAC systems to a VRF system. Additionally, we will have a short overview of HVAC code and the requirements for VRF systems.
This course will earn Contractors and Plumbers 3 Core continuing education credit hours. As you may be aware, the Utah State Legislators passed House Bill 313 , modifying the CE requirement for contractors with the S350 HVAC classification. Beginning with the 2019 renewal cycle, HVAC S350 licensees must complete at least three hours of continuing education directly related to the installation, repair, or replacement of an HVAC system. To assist you in meeting this new requirement, we have scheduled this course that will fulfill the new requirement. The original licensee is not required to attend this course and may send a company representative. If you have any questions please contact Carrie in the UMCA office at (801)364-7768 or email Carrie@umca.com.
