UCC NEWS: Utah Career Center Host PVDF Training

The Utah Career Center recently held a PVDF training courses on November 13, 14, and 15. Attendees gathered for the IR Fusion class and under the instruction of Mike Mitchell of Harrington Plastics and Robert Cosgrove of Asahi-America they were able to become certified in the use of machine SP110-S. Following one hour of instruction attendees put their skills to the test, using the PVDF machine to create a fused joint. Materials and use of the PVDF machine were made available by Harrington Plastics and Asahi America. We would like to thank Mike Mitchell and Robert Cosgrove for their continued support of UMCA members and the industry.

Upcoming classes will be held on December 4-6, 2017 at the Utah Career Center from 6PM – 9PM. Registration is not necessary and class space is currently available on a first-come, first-served basis.
