UMCA Board Of Directors Hold Strategic Planning Meeting

The UMCA Board Of Directors met in Park City, Utah in mid-March to update and evaluate the progression of the UMCA Strategic Plan that was developed and implemented in 2016. The two-day meeting was facilitated by Steve Lamb, MCAA Best Practices Mentor. The UMCA Goals & Objectives were discussed extensively and the UMCA Member Engagement Survey was  reviewed. The purpose for this meeting is to assess the direction of the UMCA and assure the association is working to serve the needs of UMCA Members.

Utah’s strong economy and future workforce demands took center stage as board members brainstormed how UMCA members could meet customer demands, grow the industry, and strengthen the relationship between labor and management. At the conclusion of the meeting the board had charted an aggressive course that will enhance and improve UMCA members ability to meet market/customer demands in the very near future. We are excited for the expected progress and hope to increase member involvement as we move forward.
