UMCA Membership Meets

The UMCA Membership met on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Grand America Hotel for its 2017 Annual Business Meeting.  The evening started with the contractor meeting where members were able to express their concerns regarding the industry as well as receive updates from the Board of Directors on the current state of the industry and the UMCA. During the business meeting, the UMCA Membership was presented with reports on the various operations of the association. Brett Christiansen was thanked for his 3 years of service as the UMCA President by Jason Bleak, who was confirmed and will now serve as the new President of the the UMCA Board of Directors.  Representative Robert Spendlove, Senior Vice President at Zions Bank engaged members with an “Economic Snapshot” of Utah and a National Economic Snapshot showing how current trends have and will affect the industry economically. His presentation, which can be found here in a powerpoint, was insightful and captivated members. Following the meeting, members enjoyed a reception and dinner. We thank all who came and helped make this event a success.
