Utah Career Center Now Offering Forklift and Personnel Lift Trainings

The Utah Career Center will be offering Plumbing Continuing Education Classes on October 9, 11, and 16 from 5PM-9PM. There will also be classes offered in the daytime on November 3 & 10 from 7AM-1:30PM.  Both class series will be held at the Utah Career Center. All continuing education courses offered through the Utah Career Center will be a review of the International Plumbing Code and Updates. This course is offered for journeymen wanting to earn credit towards renewing their plumbing license. Journeymen that want to attend should contact the Utah Career Center at (801)295-6198. Continuing Education Credit earned through courses offered by the Utah Career Center cannot be applied towards contractor licenses.

Applications are being accepted for qualified apprentices until Friday, October 19, 2018.  Applicants can pick up and return applications to the Utah Career Center located at 640 North Billy Mitchell Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. Orientation will be held on October 26 at 6:00PM. Construction interviews will be held on October 29-30 beginning at and HVAC interviews will be held on November 6.

The Utah Career Center has scheduled forklift and all-terrain forklift training on Tuesday, October 30th beginning at 11AM. Personnel lift training is scheduled for the following week on Tuesday, November 6th at 11AM. Both trainings typically last 5-6 hours so attendees should plan to be in the training until 5PM.
